Christmas Cabin - Day 3 & Decorating

     Christmas Cabin Day - 3 & Decorating

It was finally time to head home with our tree and two new family members - Rosemary the beagle and Basil the cat. It'd been a slow morning of packing and making sure we had everything. It was a little sad to leave this little cabin in the woods but, we had some more excitement waiting for us at home - decorating the tree and setting up the winter village!

We all packed into the car and headed home. The dog and cat settled in nicely by Ivy in the backseat for the long ride home. Ivy, per usual, fell asleep - along with both animals. Once we finally made it home and got the tree inside. I went up into the attic and dug out all of the ornaments for the tree. We set to work and blasted the Christmas music as we did it. What an absolutely fun afternoon!

Christmas Cabin-Day 3 and Decorating After the tree was decorated and lit.. it was time to take on the big task of decorating the outside of the house.. this would take a while. Good thing I had a little helper and a tall ladder. We strung lights all over the house. Christmas Cabin-Day 3 and Decorating Viola! It was new this year and really fun to set up. We'll be sure to safely pack this away for next year! We both ended with a little nap on the couch as the fire crackled in the fireplace. Merry Christmas! The Hadlee's Christmas Cabin-Day 3 and Decorating
