Moving to Paris ~ Winter 2013

Moving to Paris ~ Winter 2013

This post has been months overdue. I've been slacking, I will admit it. As some of you may recall back in the winter I took Ivy and the girls to Paris, France for a vacation for Christmas, and even spent New Years there. If you remember we found out that I had inherited a bunch of land and a few estates from my Husband's side of the family. After a long discussion once we were home, we decided that we would take the plunge and move. It's been a very hectic few months as we've settled into our new surroundings and trying to learn French on top of it all! I will say though, we're having the time of our lives! We did manage to take a few snapshots with the camera of us packing up the old house and finally meeting the new..

Packing up the house was really hard, we'd become so attached this home, to our lives here. Ivy didn't complain too much, I am not sure if she understood entirely what was going on. We put all of the animals into their respective kennels and loaded the van to be taken to the airport. (Shipping is so expensive!) Driving away from our home was so incredibly sad.. I will and do miss our little cottage by the sea..

  1. Really interesting photos, Meg! Moving into a different neighborhood is exciting in itself. How much more when it's in a different country, right? Different culture, different dialect, different way of life. But I think you all would fit in just fine. :)
