Paris Vacation ~ Day 2
We started the morning off right and all got up together and went down for some breakfast in the garden. We had, well I had some coffee, croissants, and some other sugary sweets (hey, we're on vacation!) While sat around the little garden table we discussed that I had made appointments for us at the salon across the street. We were going to get manicures and pedicures. A full spa day! That got the girls to eat much faster! We finished up our treats from the bakery rather quickly and ran across the street to the salon.
Upon entering the salon the girls were already "Oohing" "This is fancy Aunty!" Giselle said. We explored a little bit and the girls went into the changing area and put on some spa robes, as did I. We thought we would start first with a face mask while we soaked our toes. Ivy and her pink face mask! Giselle and her mask! Maelie and her mask! Darla and her mask! The group shot! Oh, and I suppose... me in my mask. After our toes soaked I let the girls each pick out a color for their nails. Darla and I both decided that we wanted a french manicure, Ivy wanted pink(of course), Maelie wanted light yello and Giselle a brown color. We all sat down together to try and paint our nails. There were only a few small spills... but the girls tried their best and we had a blast. After our nails were set and dry it was time to peel off the masks. We sat by the tub and peeled them off and washed our faces as best we could. We had a lovely day at the spa and plan to return again before our trip is over!
